Founder of Slamivait LLC
Karissa Stisser has worked in the robotics and embedded software space for the last decade and recently founded Slamivait LLC, which has two focuses. One is on the education and promotion of Robotics, STEM, and Coding content. The other is developing a software tool robotic and embedded companies can use to improve efficiency in development.
Experience
Karissa has a BS in Computer Science and MS in Applied Mathematics. She has worked on autonomous delivery bots, autonomous forklifts, augmented reality systems, android apps, embedded flight algorithms, and more. Some problems she has worked on have been multi-target tracking, SLAM, board bring-up, Perception, human computer interaction, and remote control. She also served 5 years in the Marine Corps.
